Woman brutally attacked for filing case over husband’s murder, shock in Kumarghat

The accused stormed into a woman’s house and brutally attacked her because she had filed a case over her husband’s murder.

The shocking incident took place in the Kumarghat police station area. The seriously injured woman was referred to Unakoti District Hospital. Since filing the case she had been living away from home with her two children, and had returned home that very day on the assurance of the police.
